Italia Sport reports that the publisher of a bodybuilding and fitness magazine called “Bikini” is buying it for €1 million ($1.7 million).
The news comes just two weeks after a deal was struck between the publisher and Italian football’s governing body AC Milan.
“The purchase of Bikini by Milan and the Milanese is a significant achievement for Milan, which will now be able to continue to make a significant contribution to the sport,” the statement from the Milan club reads.
The club has reportedly offered to buy Bikini’s publishing rights for €100 million, which would bring the total value of the deal to €2.7 billion.
The move was announced by the Milan President Andrea Agnelli on Wednesday, with Sport Itia reporting that the purchase would be finalized on Wednesday.
The news is just one of many major sports deals that have been made recently in Italy.
The country also witnessed the signing of two new agreements with a number of Italian soccer clubs.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Serie A champions Juventus signed a five-year agreement with a company that would produce the club’s new jerseys.
