By Alina Rameyevskaya and Lauren Taylor-MillsDecember 20, 2016 7:06:28When a woman kills her husband and infant son, the case is considered a hate crime.
A judge has not sentenced the woman, who remains at large.
She is accused of killing her husband, 32-year-old Alisha Johnson, in the small town of Chilton, Ohio, in October 2016.
She was arrested and charged in January with murder and involuntary manslaughter.
She was later found not guilty by reason of insanity.
The Chilton woman, whose name has not previously been revealed, was a devout Christian and had become estranged from her husband.
She told investigators she killed her husband because he had fallen out of love with her, the Columbus Dispatch reported.
The woman’s lawyer has argued that she should have been found mentally competent and not sentenced because of her mental illness.
The case is being investigated by the Chilton Police Department.
